0:00 I operate at 100 and and it's just that 0:03 anything below 100 is noticeable to me 0:06 and I was that that was the impetus I 0:08 got to do something about it 0:11 [Music] 0:18 hey guys it's Dr Ryan and today we're 0:21 going to talk with one of my patients 0:22 who's been a member of the clinic for 0:25 almost two years and he's going to tell 0:27 a little bit about his experience with 0:29 Zuma up and some of the things that he's 0:31 experienced while being a patient before 0:34 joining uh during and after okay so Mark 0:37 why don't you tell us a little bit about 0:38 yourself how you doing everybody 0:40 um my name is Mark I'm 45 years old I 0:43 work for the fire department I have been 0:45 employed with the fire department for 20 0:46 years I've never admitted it and uh ever 0:49 since being part of uh Zuma everything 0:52 has been amazing I really appreciate the 0:55 uh the general statement of support but 0:58 let's talk a little bit about the 0:59 specifics about how your situation was 1:02 before joining Cinema up so what was 1:05 what was your situation your current 1:08 house situation your mental situation 1:09 like before you start with the clinic 1:11 and what specific problems were you 1:13 trying to solve when you were looking 1:15 around to work with the clinic well as 1:18 soon as I turned 42 years old I feel 1:21 like a switch in my body just turned off 1:23 and I remember like I I was working out 1:27 five six times a week doing CrossFit 1:28 waking up five o'clock in the morning 1:30 you know energetic steps sleeping great 1:32 and all of a sudden my workouts were 1:35 extremely uh exhausting I can barely 1:38 complete them 1:39 um I remember going uh not be able to 1:42 wake up in the morning I remember the 1:45 workouts uh the exhaustion lasting a lot 1:48 longer my recovery time was instead of 1:52 24 hours it's like a couple more days I 1:55 think if I wait another day I feel 1:56 better and I still didn't feel better 1:57 and like I remember talking to one of my 2:00 guys at work and he's like you should 2:02 get your uh your blood checked make sure 2:04 you have uh your you might have low tape 2:06 or testosterone I didn't even think 2:08 about it I said you know what let me 2:10 that's that's probably I'm 40 years old 2:12 now let me get it checked and uh yeah lo 2:15 and behold my my testosterone was quite 2:18 low and um my another one of my friends 2:20 had suggested go try Suma up these guys 2:23 are amazing and uh I I did and um the 2:28 thing about 2:30 um Zuma up versus a regular practitioner 2:32 is that Zuma doesn't just get you to 2:35 normal blood work they get into optimal 2:38 blood work and how do we turn that 2:40 metabolism on to a point where it's a 2:43 fat burning machine how do we really 2:45 treat you you know hormonally but with 2:47 vitamins and and diet and they attack 2:50 you from all angles and that was the big 2:52 difference that I had yeah I'm glad you 2:55 uh you uh pointed that out we we take a 2:57 very in July individualized approach in 3:00 which we uh try to incorporate diet 3:02 exercise supplements medications to 3:05 really get you towards that ideal mental 3:08 and physical state 3:09 but before we uh jump into some of the 3:12 therapies Mark let's talk a little bit 3:14 about 3:15 um how outside of your workouts how um 3:19 your state before uh Zuma was was being 3:23 affected did you notice in your career 3:26 as a firefighter there are certain 3:27 things that were more difficult prior up 3:29 to optimize your hormones and vitamin 3:31 levels and working with us did you find 3:34 that there were some problems that were 3:36 that are that arose in terms of your 3:38 relationships with your colleagues your 3:40 family just overall sleep was what was 3:43 difficult I never felt fully rested I 3:47 never and you know that alone will 3:49 affect your day-to-day activities your 3:51 relationships you're just you're you're 3:52 I just remember like just not wine to go 3:55 out I'm just tired you know there's no 3:58 there's no Drive there's no uh oomph in 4:01 in my tank anymore I was just like ah 4:03 you know I'm just gonna go home now like 4:05 uh I I feel like I'm 25 again I feel 4:08 like you know that I that I that I got 4:10 my battery but my battery is recharged 4:14 that was amazing yeah which is which is 4:16 amazing and then just one last point 4:18 about that situation prior to joining 4:20 was there like an inciting event or was 4:23 it more just 4:24 um a culmination of different events 4:25 like was there was what was the straw 4:28 that broke the camel's back that made 4:30 you say hey you know what I gotta do 4:31 something I gotta work with sum up I 4:34 always operated 100 a few months prior 4:36 to my my going to uh sumab I'm like this 4:41 is not me something's going on and I I 4:44 operate at 100 and and it's just that 4:47 anything below 100 is noticeable to me 4:50 and I was that that was the impetus I 4:52 got to do something about it and I I 4:54 don't want to feel old I'm only 42 at 4:57 the time you know there's more to this 4:59 what's going on yeah no no I I can 5:02 totally see that and it's really just uh 5:05 a method to kind of bring out the true 5:09 you like who you who you see yourself as 5:12 um mentally internally versus what was 5:14 what was made investing externally which 5:16 which is great he kind of touched upon 5:18 this but after joining the clinic what 5:20 are some of the changes that you noticed 5:22 in your body and overall health within a 5:24 matter of like I would say two months I 5:27 saw a massive changes in my body 5:29 composition I was able to see abdominals 5:32 for the first time in years very defined 5:35 apps I really didn't change my diet that 5:38 much I mean I I tweaked it a little bit 5:39 but with my blood work at an optimal you 5:43 know ranges it just everything just came 5:45 off easily and it's been easy to 5:47 maintain that under your care yeah I'm 5:49 gonna take a minute and just stop for a 5:51 second because one thing that was really 5:53 awesome is watching your lipid panel 5:55 improve over time this is done without 5:57 statins it's just your diet just uh 5:59 hormone optimization and vitamins and as 6:02 you can see your total cholesterol 6:04 levels drop signifi secondly they went 6:06 from 221 to 179 triglycerides dropped 6:10 significantly 172 to 123 and your LDL is 6:13 at 105. now I'm always in the process of 6:16 improving things further and further so 6:18 I know we can improve even more but this 6:20 is a huge drop in the fact that you did 6:22 this is really impressive about the 6:24 usage of conventional medications so 6:27 yeah I I totally agree what about some 6:29 changes in terms of your career did you 6:32 find that you were able to perform your 6:35 duties As A Firefighter more effectively 6:37 did you notice people at Works uh 6:40 stating that you were much more 6:43 efficient at getting things done 6:45 absolutely uh Not only would efficient 6:48 just mentally alert more present that's 6:51 at home too my family my friends I'm 6:54 just a more myself and I'm a very social 6:57 person and when you are not 100 you just 7:01 want to kind of rest back into your 7:02 cocoon until you until you get better 7:04 and it's just I wasn't I wasn't coming 7:06 that was the problem he kind of touched 7:08 upon something really important there so 7:11 uh there is this model in uh behavioral 7:14 psychology in which our actions are 7:17 really determined by our thoughts right 7:20 so there's this uh this cycle in which 7:23 you'll have thoughts your thoughts will 7:25 turn into directed actions you'll do the 7:27 action and then you'll go ahead and rest 7:29 you'll develop energy and then you can 7:31 repeat the cycle so energy thoughts 7:33 actions rest energy thoughts actions 7:37 rest it's really important that your 7:39 thoughts and your feelings you have are 7:42 optimized because they are very key to 7:45 making the right actions right that that 7:48 will result in the trajectory of your 7:51 life generally are your thoughts and 7:53 feelings at a higher level are you 7:56 vibrating at a higher frequency after 7:58 work with me do you feel much more 7:59 positive about 8:01 productivity at work is it definitely 8:03 increased my performance is increased my 8:06 workout adults have become phenomenal I 8:08 feel better now than I've I did when I 8:11 was my 20s the energy levels are just 8:13 optimal everything's been been better 8:15 you know when you're feeling better you 8:16 want better it's great okay so we talked 8:18 a little bit about your physique your 8:20 family your career were there any other 8:22 benefits that came from working with us 8:23 just the overall Aesthetics of my body 8:25 have improved I mean a lot of motor 8:27 people's motivation is to look a certain 8:29 way and well that is one of mine it's 8:32 not the only one but the benefits alone 8:34 from that are just like wow it's the 8:36 first time I actually thought about 8:37 maybe I should try an over 40 8:40 competition 8:41 yes but 8:44 um I think you have the genetics to do 8:46 very well in it for sure and members of 8:48 the Opposites opposite sex also noticed 8:50 I imagine they have yeah definitely has 8:52 improved my uh my dating Adventures 8:56 very cool if someone was watching this 8:59 video what would you tell them if they 9:01 were uncertain about joining the clinic 9:02 or in starting this journey I would say 9:04 get your blood checked it can hurt most 9:07 doctors don't test for testosterone and 9:09 you do so get yourself checked doesn't 9:12 cost it doesn't cost anything what do 9:13 you have to lose but you'll feel better 9:15 at the very least thanks so much Mark I 9:17 really appreciate that
